Issue 11 of AHF Magazine was published in July 2020. Its cover image is Into Battle by John F. Keane who also writes Professor Charles Babbage and the Caveman of Light. There are many other stories, including the final part of serialised story The Umbramon, plus poetry, travel, history and L.G. Parker on the Battle of Omdurman.
Issue 10 of AHF Magazine was published in December 2019/January 2020. Its cover image is a photograph by the Editor of the grave of Bella cat, to whom it is dedicated in memoriam. The lead story is 'Stasis' by Joe Jablonksi. Issue 10 features a good mix of stories & poetry, & a narrative article by L.G. Parker.
Issue 9 of AHF Magazine was published in October 2019. Its cover image is by John F. Keane. The lead story was "The Levellers" by Susan O'Neal, & among others "No-Brainer" by Bogi Beykov, "Tilt" by Geoff Nelder, Part 1 of "The Umbramon" by Kaz Morran, and "Tamed" by Lisa Clark.
Issue 8 of AHF Magazine was published in August 2019. Its cover image is a photograph by the editor, Grey Wolf . The lead story was by Cassie Gross; also featured was a travelogue by Brian G. Davies, plus lots of fiction in many sub-genres and a selection of poetry.
Issue 7 of AHF Magazine was published in April 2019, and featured a cover picture by John F. Keane. Along with fiction and writing features it includes poetry by Holly Day, G. David Schwartz, Michael Lee Johnson, and Pawel Markiewicz.
Issue 6 of AHF Magazine was published in January 2019, and featured an interview with author Ruth Danes, several articles on writing, stories in alternate history & a variety of associated genres, and poetry. The cover picture is by Wales-based artist Hilary Bryanston.
Issue 5 of AHF Magazine was published in September 2018, and has several writing features including L G Parker on "The Story Behind The Story 'One Stray Bullet'", review & feature on '18 Acres of England' by Chris Oswald, and lots of fiction and poetry.
Issue 4 of AHF Magazine was published in March 2018, including an interview with author Tanya Reimer, stories by Christian Dean Shute, Richard Comerford, Geoff Nelder, Larry Parker, and Jeremy Zentner, featured poet Chris Smedbakken, a review of Red Moon by Wireless Theatre.
Issue 3 of AHF Magazine was published in December 2017, including an interview with author Cody Sisco, lead story by Emma Hines, stories from a dozen authors, plus poetry and art from Denny Marshall, and a feature on how the cover for 'Time of The Darkness' by Grey Wolf came about.
Issue 2 of AHF Magazine includes an interview with author John R Stuart, the completion of the serialised story by David C Schwartz and Paula Smith, a dozen short stories by a dozen different authors, an art feature on the new book cover for 'How To Write Alternate History', a press release introducing 'Paths Not Taken' by Euel Elliott et al, and more.
Issue 1 of AHF Magazine includes interviews with authors Lazlo Ferran, DF Pellegrino, and Paul Leone. There are a dozen short stories, and the first installments of serialised stories from David C Schwartz and Paula Smith, and Daniel McElwain. There are also reviews of Alternate History books, articles on the craft of writing, art, and poetry.
